Students don't graduate in 6 years for a 4 year degree
"I think Stellic gives them the confidence to just take control of how they want their academic plan to go. It really teaches a good skill for the rest of their lives."
Stellic began when our founders were in college. Much like today, it was normal for students to rely primarily on themselves and a patchwork of disconnected tools to try to make sense of their degree requirements and the steps needed to complete them. For many, making it to graduation came down to good luck and tool-smarts, not book smarts.
Our founders wanted to raise the bar. They didn’t just want to make it to graduation. They wanted confidence that they would, and they wanted to walk away with certainty that they had chosen the best path to get there.
They partnered with an advisor who understood their frustrations. He helped them envision a system that would give clarity to students and help campus support networks become stronger advocates along the way.
That system became Stellic. That advisor, Mark Stehlik (after whom the platform is named), played a key role in empowering these students to build what is now redefining the next generation of higher education.
