Accessibility Statement
Last updated: October 7, 2026
Stellic is committed to providing an inclusive experience for every student, advisor, and administrator who uses our platform. The Stellic web application is designed to be operable by people with a wide range of abilities. This statement describes the accessibility features Stellic supports, recommended software, the accessibility expertise behind the product, and how to contact our Accessibility Support Team.
Accessibility at Stellic
Stellic prioritizes accessibility so that all users, regardless of ability, can plan their degrees, track academic progress, and collaborate with advisors without barriers. Our development team continuously improves the accessibility of the Stellic platform, actively addresses known issues, and treats accessibility as an ongoing commitment rather than a one-time project.
Accessibility features in Stellic
Stellic is designed and built with features that support users with diverse needs:
Mouse and touch pointer support
Stellic is fully operable with a traditional mouse or a touch pointer. Whether users prefer the precision of a mouse or the directness of touch, the interface stays responsive and predictable.
Keyboard navigation
Stellic supports comprehensive keyboard navigation with clearly defined keyboard controls. Users can navigate, interact with, and complete essential actions in Stellic without a mouse, which supports people with mobility or dexterity disabilities.
High contrast mode
Stellic is optimized for high contrast mode to support users with low vision. Stronger color contrast improves readability and makes important information stand out, and users can tailor the experience to their visual preferences.
Better Interaction Mode
Stellic's Better Interaction Mode converts certain icons into more accessible letter keys. This gives users a clearer, more direct understanding of each function and makes the application more intuitive to use.
Screen reader compatibility
Stellic is compatible with screen readers and other assistive technologies. Users who are blind or have low vision can navigate, access content, and interact with Stellic using a screen reader, with a meaningful experience for those who rely on auditory feedback.
We continue to explore new ways to improve accessibility in Stellic, and user feedback directly shapes that work.
Software requirements
Stellic is a web-based application. For the best performance and accessibility, we recommend using:
- The latest version of your operating system
- The latest version of your assistive technology
- The latest version of your web browser
Accessibility consultants and support
Stellic partners with Level Access, an independent accessibility consulting organization, to evaluate and improve the platform's usability for people of all abilities. The Stellic support team is trained to help with accessibility-related questions and requests.
VPAT and Accessibility Conformance Report
In January 2026, Stellic completed an updated Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT®) and Accessibility Conformance Report (ACR). Level Access evaluated the Stellic platform against WCAG 2.2 Level AA success criteria and the Revised Section 508 standards.
The VPAT reflects strong accessibility support across the Stellic platform. Accessibility is an ongoing commitment, and the Stellic team continuously reviews and improves the product as standards and user needs evolve.
Ongoing accessibility improvements
Alongside the VPAT, Stellic maintains an accessibility remediation plan that sets priorities and timelines for continued improvement. The plan is reviewed regularly as the platform evolves.
