We’re ready for the AI era. Are you?
Stellic degree management makes forging the path towards graduation smarter and simpler for students and the leaders that support them.
Summit Agenda
Monday, Sept. 21
Location: The Penn Museum, 3260 South Street, Philadelphia, PA 19104
Workshop: Keeping audits accurate as curriculum changes | 1 - 2:30pm ET
Curriculum changes fast, and audits don't always keep up on their own. We'll cover refreshing audits with new constraints and handling complex or non-course requirements, with time to work through your own audit challenges.
Designed for audit builders and curriculum owners in the Registrar’s Office who are past initial launch and in a maintenance stage with audits.

Workshop: Expanding Care beyond the fundamentals | 1 - 2:30pm ET
Sending messages, booking appointments, and logging notes are just the starting point in Care. This workshop covers the next level of features that help advisors meet students where they are, including reviews, appointment campaigns, queues, and note templates.
Designed for institutions using Care, this workshop is ideal for advisors, student success staff, and Care administrators.

Break | 2:30 - 3pm ET
Workshop: Launching registration in Stellic | 3 - 4:30pm ET
It's hard to know what registration implementation in a new system will take until you've gone through it yourself. We'll cover the implementation steps and what to expect from testing and go-live, along with lessons learned from schools that have already launched and time to identify where your own institution stands on readiness.
Designed for institutions that have committed to registration or are actively scoping it.

Workshop: Building better workflows | 3 - 4:30pm ET
This session is ideal for those who understand the basics of workflows and are looking to go deeper. We'll cover utilizing custom workflows for real scenarios, with time to draft a plan for your own campus.
Designed for process owners in the Registrar's Office and administrative teams.

Workshop: Designing pathways that scale | 3 - 4:30pm ET
Pathways that work fine for a simple program can fall apart once you add sequential requirements or a major and minor combination. We'll cover building for those complex scenarios, with time to sketch out your own complex pathway.
Designed for pathway owners in the Registrar's Office, Advising, and related teams.

Opening Reception | 6pm ET
We'll kick things off in the Penn Museum's Asia Gallery, with appetizers and drinks among the exhibits.

X-Factor Session | 9:30 - 10:15am ET
Break | 10:40 - 11:10am ET
Partner Breakout: Delivering value in your first semester | 10:40 - 11:30am ET
How do you set your team up to move fast without sacrificing quality? NYU will share the story of their implementation, several deliberate structural choices, from how they made decisions to how they built internal expertise and brought others along. You'll hear the reasoning behind their approach, what it took to build systems that scaled across their schools, and see that a fast, high-quality launch is within reach for your team too.

Partner Breakout: Rebuilding graduation clearance in Stellic | 10:40 - 11:30am ET
Graduation clearance is often treated as a term-end fire drill. Columbia and UW-Milwaukee rebuilt the process from the ground up to make it something staff could rely on instead of scramble through. Hear the decisions that shaped their approach and how they tested before rolling it out to their teams. You'll leave with practical steps for testing and launching grad clearance workflows on your own campus.

Partner Breakout: Preparing for AI in student success | 10:40 - 11:30am ET
AI creates an opportunity to rethink work that campuses have accepted for decades. This panel explores where institutional leaders see real opportunities for AI, what they're choosing to rethink first, and where they're moving more cautiously. You'll leave with fresh perspectives to bring back to your own team.

Break | 11:30 - 11:45am ET
Roundtable: Tenure with Stellic | 11:45 - 12:30pm ET
Connect with schools at a similar point in their tenure with Stellic, from first-year partners to those several years in. We'll group you by tenure to compare approaches and talk through the decisions ahead.
Lunch | 12:30 - 1:30pm ET
Partner Breakout: Reflecting on years of advising with Care | 1:30 - 2:20pm ET
University of Delaware and Texas Christian University have both built their advising model around Care for the last few years. They'll share the strategy behind that transition: how to avoid just recreating your old system, what you can do to start small and scale, and how to design adoption so it actually sticks. You'll leave with a framework you can apply no matter where your own advising model stands today.

Partner Breakout: Building for life after go-live | 1:30 - 2:20pm ET
Go-live is a milestone, not the destination. Hear from Indiana University on how they continued evolving their use of Stellic through three lenses: enrollment management, advising, and IT. You'll leave with practical strategies for turning a successful implementation into long-term institutional impact.

Partner Breakout: Balancing alignment and autonomy on campus | 1:30 - 2:20pm ET
How consistent should departments and schools actually be? Cornell worked through that question by looking at where shared workflows and technology could create alignment across campus, and where differences across schools served a purpose. You'll leave with a framework for deciding what to standardize and what to leave flexible on your own campus.

Break | 2:20 - 2:40pm ET
Roundtable: Role | 2:40 - 3:20pm ET
Connect with peers who share your role, from registrars to advisors to systems and student success staff. We'll group you by function to compare workflows and trade practical ideas you can use on your own campus.
Break | 3:20 - 3:40pm ET
Partner Breakout: Streamlining transfer credit with Explore | 3:40 - 4:30pm ET
Transfer credit can feel like a black box to students and a bottleneck to staff. Hear from institutions that used Explore to bring clarity to the process, streamlining it for staff and improving the experience for incoming transfer students. You'll leave with tactics you can apply to your own transfer and articulation work.
Partner Breakout: Making your impact impossible to miss | 3:40 - 4:30pm ET
The work happening across advising, registrar, and student success offices often stays invisible at the executive level. Hear how campus leaders communicate impact and align around metrics that matter. You'll leave with language and metrics you can use to make your own team's impact visible at every level.
